Request for Bids: Glencoe Elementary Schoolyard Project
The Glencoe Elementary Schoolyard Project (825 SE 51st Ave, Portland, OR 97215) managed by the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership will remove asphalt to create planting areas and install playground features. The project area is in the main schoolyard play area adjacent to SE Belmont Street. Four new planting areas will be depaved and prepared, underdrains installed, old trees removed, new trees planted, and new play equipment, swing set, benches, and tables installed. Work includes asphalt removal, excavation, piping, form and flat concrete work, soil work, and equipment installation. The plants will be planted by the school community. The project was developed by Juncus Studio in collaboration with Portland Public Schools and the Glencoe PTA.
Bids are due by April 3 at 11 a.m. See the anticipated schedule below for additional dates of note.
