The Estuary Partnership is part of the National Estuary Program (NEP)—a network of voluntary community-based groups that safeguard the health of our most important coastal ecosystems throughout the United States. The NEP is administered by EPA and includes 28 programs across the country—also including nearby Puget Sound and Tillamook Bay.

About Classroom Lessons Our classroom lessons are developed to be hands-on, appeal to multiple learning styles and engage students in active participation. Classroom lessons cover a variety of science topics and Next Generation Science Standards. Lessons also help prepare students to participate in one of our field trips by giving them the background they need and the time to get to know our educators.
