Public boat ramp with docks on Lake River. There is a small picnic area with tables next to the parking lot. Kayaks of numerous types are available for rent at Ridgefield Kayak Rentals, just a short walk from the boat ramp. Non-motorized boats often launch from the grassy area next to the boat ramp. There is also dedicated kayak dock one, very long block north of the boat ramp on Division St. The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge makes this a great spot for birding. Please remember however, that there is no access to the refuge from the water. The site also has a small transient boat tie up.
