A 42.4 acre man-made island a few minutes paddle from downtown St. Helens, just downstream of the Multnomah Channel and Columbia River confluence. The island is a mix of cottonwood forest and grassy areas.
The City of St. Helens recently renovated the island and operates a campground, open from March through October. The camp host can also accept day-of walk up or phone reservations, if spots are available.
The island has campsites, group sites, restrooms, fire pits (firewood for sale), picnic tables, nature trails, horseshoe and corn hole for check out, and a day use area. There is no running water on the island.
