POSTPONED to 2022. Please register for our Picnic at Vancouver Lake on September 25!

 

The event will be held at Rossi Farms (3839 NE 122nd Avenue), a working farm in Portland's Parkrose Neighborhood. We will begin outdoors with music, a roaming photo booth and raffles with great art and packages to win. Dinner from Calabash Authentic will be served in an airy barn with large open doors, followed by honoring our Steward of the Year and finally, a live auction with fabulous experiences and other items to win. While we can't gather to host an in-person raffle and auction, we hope you will mark your calendars and check out our online auction, open Friday, September 17 through Saturday, September 25! Winners can pick up their items at the Vancouver Lake  Pick-Up Picnic, or make alternate pick up arrangements.

Jo'sean Joseph

Jo'sean Joseph is a 2021 summer recreation leader at the Estuary Partnership, helping to lead Big Canoe paddles and learning and getting hands on experience as an environmental educator. Jo'sean is 18 years old, a Portland native, and a participant with The Blueprint Foundation. "Growing up I wasn't into the environment until my brother chose the nature path and I followed in his footsteps," said Jo'sean. "As he got more into it, so did I and it made me fall in love with the beauty of nature. I get to spend all my work time outdoors learning every second and teaching what I learn to youth

Joshua Joseph is a 2021 summer recreation leader at the Estuary Partnership, helping to lead Big Canoe paddles and learning and getting hands on experience as an environmental educator. Joshua grew up in the St. Johns area of Portland. He developed a love for the outdoors in the 7th grade and is now in his third year at Portland Community College majoring in Environmental Science. Joshua came to work with us through his participation with The Blueprint Foundation, and also has experience through Portland Parks and Recreation's environmental youth programs.
