East Fork Lewis River Thermal Refuge Project Engineering Design Services

The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership (Estuary Partnership) is soliciting proposals from firms interested in providing restoration alternatives and preliminary design services for its East Fork Lewis River Thermal Refuge Project. The Estuary Partnership will use these proposals, along with follow-up interviews with short-listed firms, to select a firm to assist the Estuary Partnership and its project team with completing a restoration alternatives assessment and preliminary (30%) restoration designs for a suite of 3-4 potential thermal refuge sites along the lower East Fork Lewis River. The Estuary Partnership anticipates that, pending future funding, this may lead to subsequent design and construction oversight for the selected restoration projects.

The Estuary Partnership will work with the selected firm to develop a contract scope, schedule, and detailed budget for the project. The Estuary Partnership’s allocated funding for these services is $150,000. The work is scheduled to commence as soon as a contract can be entered into, and to end by March 2026.

Applications are due April 24, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
