Tony Tommasini joins us as an intern for spring and summer 2024. Tony is a Washingtonian by heart. He moved from the Bay Area as a baby, grew up in the Salmon Creek/Barberton area, and attended Skyview High School, graduating with the class of 2017. He then served as a Combat Controller for the Air Force Special Operations Command for the past 5.5 years.
In his time as an intern with the Estuary Partnership, he will gain exposure and experience in all the different fields that contribute to the “big picture” that is conservation. Tony enjoys mountain biking, hiking, canyoneering, free-diving, skiing, snowboarding, riding ORVs, and water sports. Through this internship, he hopes to contribute to efforts to keep our beautiful outdoors available for all to enjoy, for generations to come.
