Environmental Health Manger, Cowlitz County Health and Human Services

Season Long has worked in Environmental Public Health since 2010. For the past 6 years, she has been the Environmental Health Manager for Cowlitz County’s Health and Human Services Department. In addition to this role, she has also served on several committees including the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and Technical Advisory Group (TAG), where she participated in drafting and finalizing on-site septic standards that will be utilized in the revised Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Currently, she serves on the Environmental Health Director’s Executive Committee, a group that works with state partners to prioritize, support, and promote environmental health programs across the Washington Public Health System. Season holds a M.S in Marine Resource Management from Oregon State University as well as a B.S. in Biology. She strongly believes in the mission of environmental public health and its role in protecting our environment for future generations. Season lives in Vancouver and enjoys hiking, disc-golf, camping, and canoeing with her family.
