Undergraduate Research Assistant
Makarios is a Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Estuary Partnership. He works within the Big Canoe Program and assists the GIS & Data Management Specialist on fish passage barrier assessment.
He was born and raised in North Portland and is currently pursuing an Environmental Science major at the University of Portland. In his free time, he loves to hike, fish, and enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer. Makarios loves to work and learn with others and apply his knowledge to all aspects of his career and daily life.
