REI is passionate about protecting the outdoors and provides grants to steward outdoor places we all love and enjoy. With REI’s support the Estuary Partnership will mobilize volunteers from across the region to remove invasive species, plant native trees and scrubs, clean up river banks, and care for popular recreation areas along the lower Columbia River. This year the Estuary Partnership will steward Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge and Benson State Recreation Area just to name a few.
