Regional park with facilities, interpretive signage, and a sandy beach. Popular summer spot for swimming, wading, and picnicking. Access to the river requires a long (1/4 mile at least) walk. Lewis and Clark established a camp here on 31 March 1806 and remained 6 days as they secured provisions for their return trip.

The park is owned by the Port of Camas-Washougal, but maintained by City of Vancouver Parks and Rec. See the official webpage here.
