Collecting and studying insects is a great way to get outside and explore your schoolyard or local natural area because insects live anywhere there are trees, shrubs, or grass.  Insect collection can be a meaningful way to engage students in an inquiry project and there are endless ways to extend your collection activity into writing, art, adaptation studies, and ecology. This kit provides everything you need to go on an exciting, hands-on, insect collecting adventure with your students.

CHECK OUT: Kits may be checked out for two weeks and are available at our Portland office. In some cases and with advance notice we may be able to arrange a delivery or pick-up.
