Plant trees to restore native habitat at the Sandy River Delta!

We are prioritizing the health of our volunteers and staff by implementing new protocols to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all. Check HERE for our COVID 19 Safety Guidelines.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. All ages and abilities welcome! We are moving to online registration for all attendees.

  • A registration form must be completed for each volunteer.
  • Parents: please fill out a form for each child/dependent. We allow students ages 16 or older to volunteer without an adult present.

Accessibility: Planting site is a flat area, about a 5-minute walk along a trail from parking.

What to bring: Face covering or mask, hand sanitizer, snack, water bottle, planting gloves and a shovel (if you have them). No worries if you don't have gloves or a shovel, we will provide these.

We will provide: sanitized planting gloves, shovels and extra masks.

What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, rain gear and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.

Prior to the event: You will receive an email with the exact location and more event details.

At the event: Estuary Partnership staff will review COVID guidelines and safety, distribute tools and organize attendees into households or pods and assign a separate planting area for each. We will explain the goals of the project and demonstrate planting techniques.

We welcome ALL ages, races and ethnicities, religions, gender identities, countries of origin, sexual orientation, immigrants and refugees, abilities and disabilities, spoken and signed languages. Together, we are a stronger community working toward a common goal.
