POSTPONED-Plant Native Trees and Shrubs at Minthorn Creek

Join us at Dave's Killer Bread in planting trees and shrubs to benefit Minthorn Creek and the animals that call it home.

We are prioritizing the health of our volunteers and staff by implementing new protocols to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all. Check HERE for our COVID 19 Safety Guidelines.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited. All ages and abilities welcome! We are moving to online registration for all attendees.

  • A registration form must be completed for each volunteer.
  • Parents: please fill out a form for each child/dependent.

Accessibility: The project area is just a few steps away on pavement from the parking area. There are options for working on a flat surface and some steeper slopes.

What to bring: Face covering or mask, hand sanitizer, snack, water bottle, planting gloves and a shovel (if you have them). No worries if you don't have gloves or a shovel, we will provide these.

We will provide: sanitized planting gloves, shovels and extra masks.

What to wear: Long sleeves, pants, rain gear and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.

Prior to the event: You will receive an email with the exact location and more event details.

At the event: Estuary Partnership staff will greet you at the planting site, organize attendees into smaller groups, review COVID guidelines and safety, and distribute tools. A staff member will explain the goals of the project and demonstrate planting techniques.

We welcome ALL ages, races and ethnicities, religions, gender identities, countries of origin, sexual orientation, immigrants and refugees, abilities and disabilities, spoken and signed languages. Together, we are a stronger community working toward a common goal.

We are closely following CDC guidelines and if we need to cancel an event, we will notify all registered volunteers.
