Comments:
Sand filters are unvegetated structures placed above or below ground. They are filled with at least 30 inches of sand and topped with protective rock. This series of sand filters at Cascade Station was designed to incorporate stormwater runoff from roads and sidewalks within the development. The site includes more than six sand filters or varying size and design.
