The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is coordinating the implementation of a habitat restoration project in the La Center wetlands during September - October 2015. The project will restore tidal influence to the wetlands and restore critical habitat for salmon and steelhead. During construction, the La Center Bottoms trail will be temporarily closed to all uses. Read more about the project and what local residents should expect here.
