MLK Day Tree Planting at Sandy River Delta

January 15, 2018 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Help your community by improving our local natural areas! Every year for Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service, the Estuary Partnership engages community members in "a day on, not a day off" of planting trees to enhance habitat and improve water quality.

Your plantings will be part of a larger effort by many partners to restore the Sandy River. Read about the Estuary Partnership-led restoration of the mouth of the river here.

Plant trees at Burnt Bridge Creek

March 24, 2018 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Make a difference while exploring Burnt Bridge Creek, which feeds into Vancouver Lake. Help plant trees to benefit the water quality and habitat of the creek. We'll be planting upstream of the multi-use path, so this is an opportunity for you to explore more of the creek than you'd normally see.
